The #yarnparty Shawl
This shawl was designed to use exactly 1 and 1/2 skeins of Silver Key Stitches yarn on their 42 base that was specifically dyed to order as an exclusive color for Ewe & You Fiber Arts 5th Anniversary. The main color and it’s matching contrast color play perfectly together to really make the stitch patterns pop.
The shawl is meant for an advanced beginner knitter in mind, while still being a satisfying knit for any level. The patterns are repetitive enough to memorize but change up enough not to get boring or too tedious.
We hope you enjoy making this shawl as much as we enjoyed designing it. Wear it to all the #yarnparty events you attend!
The shawl is written in one size with handy stitch count guides throughout. While its not necessary to count every row, it is helpful to have these guides to help keep track of your progress.
Some of the sections are charted as an aid to see how the pattern repeats and lines up. Everything is written out.
When choosing colors either two semi solid colors work best or a speckled and a semi solid contrast work best to show off the various patterns throughout.
