The Yellow Mesh Basket
The Yellow Mesh Basket is a super fun and quick crochet project. It is worked from the bottom up and in the round, using up a single skein of Nakyang Yarn If, and it makes for a useful mesh basket.
The basket can be used for various organisational purposes. I like to use mine as a project bag for small to medium projects. As you will see in the pictures, it easily fits two small projects at once.
It also makes for a great travel project bag; it does not tip over, keeps your work tidy and visible and does not take up much space.
Instructions are given in written abbreviated form and US terms.

Yarn
Nakyang Yarn If
DK / 8 ply / 11 wpi / 100% Cotton
192 meters - 210 yards / 100 grams
Colorway: 3, 1 skein
This is a very sturdy cotton yarn: it is Z-plied and with a high twist. The construction makes it ideal for crochet; it is easy to work with and does not split or tangle on itself. Because of the high twist and the plant-based fiber content, it does not have much elasticity. This makes it ideal for accessories such as baskets, bags, hats, that need to be sturdy, keep their shape and not grow in size with use. When substituting, look for a yarn with similar characteristics.
