The Ziggy Hat pattern works up really quickly! I can make one in under two hours, and I’m the slowest crocheter on the planet! It works up just like a simple DC beanie, with a little added flair in the sc rows in the middle.

You will need two different colors of worsted weight medium (4) yarn. I used Studio Classic from AC Moore. I also used a J hook, because I have very tight tension, but the majority of people will need an H hook. There are gauging instructions within the pattern to help. There are also instructions on how to make it a messy bun hat!
