The Theo Hat is a special hat, perfect for the winter and for every occasion. It’s worked bottom up in the round and the Right Twist is the main design element, that creates a texturized effect in the triangle section. One size fits all: it’s very elastic and it can easily be worn by a size S, M, and L. You can make for size S 30-35 rounds of ribbing instead of 40, if you want a more fitting ease.

REQUIREMENTS
Yarn: Blenda Gotland 50/50, YarnWick, 50% Gotland Wool, 50% Merino, 50 grams, 200 meters 1 skein
Stil, Emma Fassio, 70% Mohair, 30% Silk, 25 grams, 210 meters, 1 skein

GAUGE: 25 sts x 30 rows in 10x10 cm in 2/2 ribbing without stretching with both yarns worked together
Needles: circular knitting needles with 4 mm points or of necessary number for gauge. I’ve used short points and 40 cm cable, and double pointed needles (4+1) for the final part
Notions: tapestry needle to weave in ends, 1 stitch marker (M) for the beginning of the round, 3 stitch markers (m)

Il Theo Hat è un cappello speciale, perfetto per l’inverno e per qualsiasi occasione. E’ lavorato dal basso verso l’alto in tondo e il Right Twist è l’elemento di design, che crea un effetto materico nelle sezioni triangolari. Una taglia unica: è molto elastico e può essere indossato dalla taglia S, M e L. Consiglio eventualmente per una S di eseguire solo 30-35 giri della sezione iniziale a coste invece di 40.

Tensione: 25 maglie x 30 ferri in 10x10 cm a costa 2/2 senza tirare con entrambi i filati lavorati insieme
Ferri: ferri circolari con punte del 4 mm o del numero necessario per la tensione. Ho utilizzato le punte corte con il cavo da 40 cm e i ferri a doppia punta (4+1) per la parte finale
Accessori: ago da lana per nascondere le codine, 1 marca punto (M) per l’inizio giro, 3 marca punti (m)
