A little about this shawl and why its so important to me:

My very first class in college was History 101.
I sat in the back of a double u shaped seating area, the kid who sat in front of me was also a freshman in his very first college class, his name was Joe. He was from Salem (the hometown of the college), and having gone away for school I wasn’t ready to have friends who were locals so I didn’t think much it and took the class.
Flash forward to April 15th, and a cute 19 year old runs into the theater 10 minutes late for rehearsal carrying a snare drum. I say, “Hi, I’m Annah I’m one of the assistant stage mangers, I’ll take that you get the rest of your set.”
Him “uh ok sorry I’m late.”
That 19 year old cute percussionist would later introduce me to Joe from my history class, his best friend, saying that it was Joe’s fault that he was late to rehearsal when he first met me because it was Joe’s birthday when we met and they had lost track of time.
Turns out Joe had been telling that 19 year old percussionist about this girl in his history class who wasn’t afraid to show what she knew about History. That 19 year old would later become my husband.
Flash forward to June of 2012 and Joe introduces me to this girl Brooke that he “wasn’t his girlfriend but he was seeing.” 
After they had left I looked over at James and said, “that’s the girl that Joe is going to marry”
Well Joe finally figured it out and proposed to Brooke. This shawl is named after Joe’s Instagram user name in honor of their engagement… keep your eyes out there will be four more patterns named after these very special humans.

Yarn Needed: Silent Knits DK 231 yards 3 skeins

Stitches Needed: Knit,Purl, K2tog, YO,SSK , Slip Stitch

Two years ago on 4/15 I eloped at city hall after 4 years of being engaged and 3 years of being a family to my husband James Six years ago we had recently found out we were pregnant with our Lilliana!
