If you look at any waffle-print undershirt or pair of long johns, you’ll find this stitch. I was dismayed that the stitch was not replicated in hand knitting, or at least was not readily accessible to me. That may have something to do with it being double brioche knitting, a not-so-common stitch. So I wrote it up, and made a cowl of it.
