Having received a large thermal coffee mug for Christmas, then experiencing two long power outages, my brain was rapidly working on ways to keep things warm!

And so was born the Thermal Large Mug Mate.

Materials required: 1 skein worsted weight yarn (I used 100% cotton for the cream one, and Cygnet Aran for the green version.); 4.5mm hook; yarn needle; 2-4 buttons.

Fits a 34 oz. chubby thermal keg. 7.5” tall by 4” diameter. (Adaptable)

Worked with a thermal double crochet and thermal single crochet (instructions included), with a double-thickness top cover, this will help keep your coffee warm for just that little bit longer when the weather is cold.
