Thermal potholder with hook
Thermal stitch potholders and sunburst crochet coasters in two sizes (average and large for different “jobs”) worked directly onto wooden rings. Coasters are 3.5”
This is a beginner friendly pattern that teaches you the thermal stitch and how to work directly onto hardware (video tutorial helps with that).
For this pattern you will use:
5.5 and 6 mm crochet hooks
category 4 100% cotton yarn (mercerized cotton is used in images)
a ruler
wooden rings 2” (linked in pattern)
They make a great gift or given as part of a gift for a shower or housewarming or holiday with a holiday themed treat included.
Thick enough to use as a trivet and big enough to protect large or long hands.
