Thermopylae Scarf
Tapestry Crochet is an art form. You can get a taste of this art form with this simple, yet elegant unisex scarf. This is what I call an entry level Tapestry Crochet garment that will give you a taste of Tapestry Crochet from a different perspective, and get you to test the waters. I will say that you need to know your Back Post and Front Post crochet stitches to make this pattern work for you, along with how to change colors in crochet, but there are video links, to help you, not to worry. This is a textured scarf and can be done with left over yarn from projects. The gauge is important to help you calculate how many chains you will have to cast on. You can make this with different kinds of yarn and my suggestion is to use a hook size or two above the yarn recommendations, because this fabric will tend to curl a bit and a bigger hook makes the fabric more relaxed. It should be blocked and stretched to help the stitches reach their potential. This pattern has been tested to the best of my ability by two other people and is free of errors. Any questions feel free to contact me. Video Link to help you with color change and FPdc. HERE
Thank You Naomi and Isa for your help with the testing of this pattern.
