Welcome to the They Don’t Love You Like I Love You Shawlette knitting pattern by Rena Greyson from The Red Fox and Gown! This bright shawlette will add a splash of colour to the urban landscape. The name of this shawlette is a nod to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, one of my favourite bands.

Not too large, the shawlette fits comfortably when worn around the neck. Be sure to make a statement with your bold stripes.

This pattern is suitable for intermediate knitters using the following techniques: long tail cast on, garter stitch tab, knit stitch, purl stitch, yarn overs, short rows (w+t), intarsia, placing stitch markers, working flat, increases, bind off, weaving in ends.

Yarn: Rain City Knits Superwash Sock. The colourways that I used were Natural for the main colour and Lemon Yellow for the contrasting colour. 437 yards / 400 m per skein. Or use approximately 450 yd per skein with a substitute yarn.

Needles: 2.5 mm / US 1.5
