Thicc Santa Hat
Just like the jolly ol’ plump man himself, this Santa hat is THICC. If you’ve got 2-3 hours and the Christmas spirit, you can whip up my cozy version of Santa’s sombrero.
This hat is knit with 2 strands of Lion Brand Thick and Quick held together to give it extra thicc-ness.
The hat measures 11” wide at the base and 21” long (without pom pom).
You’ll need approximately 265 yards of Thick and Quick. I suggest 2 skeins of the color Cranberry and 1 skein of the color Fisherman.
If using magic loop method (my favorite), you’ll need size US 13 needles and at least 32” cable. Otherwise, US 13 needles on a 16” cable and/or US 13 DPNs.
I recommend a large pom pom maker, but feel free to use your favorite pom method.
