This is a fluffy lobster/crawfish blanket pattern. It works up thick and quick because you hold 3 strands of worsted weight yarn together as you crochet. It has attached claw “mittens” that keep your hands warm!

This pattern includes directions for child and adult sizes. Child size measures approximately 40” (at widest point) x 46” And adult size is about 40” x 64”. The blanket lays flat at the top and tapers down and becomes a cocoon around your calves and feet.

I used a “P” hook, mine was 12mm, for the body of the blanket, and a 9mm hook for the fins and claws.

I used Hobby Lobby’s “I Love This Yarn”, but I’d imagine you could substitute any worsted weight yarn you like.

Gauge is 6 hdc = 4” and 6 hoc rows = 5”. However, gauge is not super important because it’s a blanket and slight size variations won’t really matter.
