You can use from 5 to 7 skeins of yarn at a time on this pattern. I have made it with both and it has turned out just lovely both times. This pattern was inspired by another pattern but I completely changed it. Gauge really makes no difference here as the “S” hook makes huge stitches anyway. You can put fringe on this scarf if you like but I never have. This scarf uses about half a skein of each color so it is perfect for using up remainders of skeins.
