This cowl features an easy-to-knit twisted stitch pattern. It is knit in the round using sportweight yarn. This cowl is an accompanying piece to the Thickets Gloves, and the pattern is sold as a set with the gloves and cowl included together in the pattern.

Instructions are given for a slightly more fitted version as well, but the cowl is easy to customize for more/less width and height. Knit as written, this project takes approximately 125 yards of sportweight yarn.

The original was knit in Wooly Wonka Fibers Belisama SW merino sportweight in the “Chaplin” colorway.

Skills needed to knit this cowl include some familiarity with charts and knitting in the round.
