Thingee Two
This pattern is
available for free.
The beauty of the Thnigee is the infinite number of ways that it can be worn: either with the arms in or out, in the front or the back, wrap it like a scarf or a cowl, pin it or not, the possibilities are endless.
Garment is worked in Garter Stitch from side to side as two pieces which are sewn together then one is seamed for a short distance on either end to create armholes.
This pattern is perfect for the Scribble Lace technique where fine yarn is worked on large needles and a thicker yarn is periodically used for a two rows (a single ridge).
Fabric should be worked on needles large enough to yield an open fabric with drape. Gauge is not critical but will affect yardage required and final size.
