Inspired by the Phantom of the Opera. A little bit dark and slightly off balance with short row shaping, this shawl pattern uses two different yarns, a tonal colorway and a tweed, to create three very different textural effects. The fingering weight yarn gives a light, open feel to the lace patterned sections, but also has a bouncy, squishy feel in the garter stitch sections. The tweed yarn creates an intriguing stockinette outline between the lace and garter stitch areas.
