This hat was an idea inspired after traveling along historic highway 30 in the Columbia River Gorge of Oregon.

It is knit with 3 different color yarns held 2 at at time. The detail in in the hat is in the strategic details of the changing of colors. Stitches are pretty basic, if you can knit, purl and decrease you can make it.

This pattern is written without charts, detailed for every row to make it easy to follow. This also includes photo tutorial on how to make a pom pom with cardboard.
