This hat is such a fun hat to make. It uses an I 5.5mm US hook and any #4 worsted weight yarn. I chose I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby.

The skill level is slightly above beginner using the magic ring, front post double crochet, and the crab stitch. Included are several links to tutorials for all of the special stitches and techniques.
