Create a cute little piggy perfect for little hands! Suggested yarns are easy-washing acrylics or cottons, however pretty much any yarn will work. Safety eyes are also suggested, I use a 10mm eye on my projects. You can also make yarn eyes, or buttons if you are comfortable with that and they won’t pose a choking hazard.

Adjust your hook size to fit whatever yarn you are using, just note that the size of your finished piggy will adjust as well. I generally use just a standard, easily available worsted acrylic for this pattern, and a size 5mm hook and my finished pig is about 3.5” tall and 4.5” long.

Gauge is not important, just ensure your stitches are tight enough that you won’t be leaking any stuffing.
