Overlay Mosaic Crochet pattern, great for beginners! This is a repeating and inversing “greek key” type motif, and looks lovely with ombre yarn.

Can be done with any yarn, though 3/DK and 4/worsted weights optimal. My purple and black sample was 4/worsted weight with a 4mm hook.
