Thistle Beanie used one ball of Softie, to make one cosy beanie (that fits most adults!) The colours in the beanie are reminiscent of a Scottish thistle - using colour way 700.

However - you never can predict these things - the pattern became popular among crocheters using a chunky yarn and so a variation in the pattern was added in May 2019.
