Thistle is a square afghan block specifically designed for the 2020 Friends Around the World 5th Anniversary CAL. It was designed for two colours, but could use more colours.

Using a 5mm hook, the finished size is 30cm/12” square but it is a flexible design where you can add or remove rounds to get the size you want.

There are 2 patterns on the file - one in UK terms and one in US terms - please make sure you select the correct version. Further languages will be added as they are translated by the Friends Around the World admin team. More languages coming online now!
