Thistle Leaf Curl
I created this pattern using stitch patterns from Barbara Walkers Second and Third Treasury of Knitted Patterns Thistle Leaf. The pattern is both charted and written so you have both references. The charts are presented first and then followed by the written instructions.
This is a Triangular shawl that is worked by increasing on alternating sides on every row. The yarn that I used to make the shawl in the picture was hand spun with 4 ounces of Merino/ Merino Superwash/Tussah Silk top, 40/40/20, in Three Waters Farm color way Quilted Landscape and I spun and Navajo plyed it to a lace weight yarn . I ended up with about 500 yards but you can substitute any other Lace weight yarn of your choice.
