Thistles
“Thistles”
Taking the ridge pattern as inspiration from a pair of mitts worn in the latest season of Outlander, I have created these arm warmers to depict the stems of a thistle and added the flower head in a contrasting colour using a tiny piece of 4ply yarn from my yarn boxes.
You could of course use all the same colour and work the thistle head in the main colour as well if you prefer.
They are knitted flat and then flat seamed together, so no juggling working in the round, and are perfect for that special skein of luxury yarn you have waiting to use. You can either finish them with or without the thumb hole
They are created in DK weight yarn.
Perfect for a quick gift or to simply give your own arms a treat.
