The March pattern from Knit Purl’s 2008 Sock Club, this innovative pattern was written by local designer Kristin Spurkland. Featuring an unusual textured stitch pattern, this design is ideal for hand-painted yarns with high-contrast colors.

Pattern uses 2.25mm/ US 1 and 2.75mm/ US 2 needles (or size needed to get gauge).

As the pattern was written for a sock club, with a 2 skein limit on yarn, the leg portion is perhaps a bit shorter than some would like. If you would like to knit a longer leg, additional yarn may be required.
