Thoreia
Thoreia was inspired by the twin ideas of using differing-sized cables to create a little shaping, and using cables to add some interest to ribbing. The result: a loose-fitting functional tunic to wear over a lighter top on a cool day in early autumn.
Ribbing throughout the body gives a bit of weight to this cotton tape garment, with k2 p2 below the bust, and k1 p1 above it. A band of k2 p1 ribbing around the midriff prevents the large area of k2 p2 from sagging under its own weight. The garment is worked from the bottom up, in the round until the armholes are reached.
Enjoy!
