“Thorn is a shawl that is at once simple and complex. Worked in a classic garter rib pattern that accentuates the tweed and texture of Loft, the shawl’s interest comes from an ever-shifting line of increases across the row, as well as a change in increase rate as the pattern progresses. This combination creates a gentle sunburst effect and an asymmetrical curve in the fabric of a unique shawl that is both modern and timeless. “ – Bristol Ivy
CONSTRUCTION
- Shawl is worked flat (back and forth) in one piece.
- Cast-on edge forms the left tip of shawl when viewed flat from the RS; Bind-off edge forms the curved right edge and bottom left edge of shawl.
