Delicate lace and a classic drop shoulder silhouette are features of this light and lovely cardigan. Gentle ribbed shaping is created by the alternating lace and stockinette columns, and the unadorned sleeves and open front keep the look simple and elegant. This sweater will add a touch of style to any outfit, whether dress or jeans.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Bust - 36 (38, 39½, 41½, 44, 46, 48½)(50, 51½, 53½, 56, 58½, 60)“ based on twice finished back measurement. Fronts open at center 1-2¾”.
Intended to be worn with 2-4” of ease.

YARN: 1200 (1255, 1315, 1400, 1510, 1590, 1670)(1730, 1795, 1885, 1990, 2080, 2105) yds sportweight wool or wool blend.

NEEDLES: U.S. size 4 (3.5mm) 32” (80cm) circular needle.
Circular needle is used to accomodate the large number of stitches.
Adjust needle size as needed to obtain correct gauge.

OTHER: Stitch holders and/or waste yarn, stitch markers (optional), removable stitch markers (4), extra needle in same size for 3-needle bind off, tapestry needle.

GAUGE: 24 sts/36 rows = 4” in stockinette, blocked.
9 sts = 1⅜“ wide in Lace, blocked.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate. Techniques include long tail cast on, simple lace, yarnover short rows, 3-needle bind off, decreases, and picking up stitches.

CONSTRUCTION: Back and fronts are knit separately from the bottom up. Shoulders are shaped with short rows and joined with 3-needle bind off. Stitches are picked up for the collar band and for the sleeves, which are knit flat to the cuffs. Sides and underarms are seamed.
