A-line silhouette dress with ~2-5cm/1” of positive ease.
Instructions provided for 3 sleeve options: short (~2.5cm/1”); 2/3 length (a bit longer than elbow) or long
sleeve.
Garment length: for children – knee length; for adults ~5cm/2” shorter than knee length.
Yoke is worked sideways in Garter using short rows, then sewn together.
Main body and sleeves worked in the round top-down starting from yoke.
Hem is decorated with Bud print in Garter using short rows.
Neck, hem and sleeves finished with I-cord.
There are 2 options for yoke and hem Bud print (combine if desired, yardage will remain the same):
● Option 1: «thorns» and «buds» worked in MC/ background color -CC;
● Option 2: «thorns» and «buds» worked in CC/ background color -MC.
Sample is worked using option 1 for yoke and option 1 for hem. 2-3 length sleeves are shown on the
schematic

YARN: preferably with high merino wool content ~400-425m/437-465yds per 100g/3.5oz, in two
contrast colors (take black & white picture of your yarn to check the contrast if desired).

NEEDLES:
● Main: 3.25 mm/US 3 (or size to get gauge) circulars on a 60 cm/24” cable;
● Edging: 3mm/US 2.5 circulars on a 60 cm/24”cable + DPN’s.

● In GARTER STITCH – 22 stitches by 23 garter ridges (46 rows) (pay attention to row gauge, it’s crucial for yoke
fit!)
