THE BRIGHT, spring-like colours
used on Dario Tubiana’s cardigan really
glow against the warm brown of the
background fabric. His design includes
the use of popcorn stitch to add textural
interest. The body and sleeves are
worked separately in the round with
a steek and then joined for the yoke,
which is decreased to the neck; the
steek is then cut open and reinforced
before adding the front bands. It’s
knitted in a pure Icelandic wool.
