These guys stand about 5 inches tall, and usually take about an evening. Though I’ve been known to spend way longer than that designing, sculpting, and planning.

Any worsted weight scraps can be used for this project. You need about 20 yds for the pants, 30 yds for the shirt, and 40 yds for the skin. The hair is variable depending on how thick the yarn is and how long you want the hair.

You will need:
about 90 yds of worsted weight yarn
a little bit of polyfill
some plastic pellets if you want to weigh the base a bit
sculpey clay or some other sort of moldable clay
e6000 or some other sort of glue
a hairpin lace tool, or a piece of cardboard as wide as you’d like the hair.
