The pattern contains instructions for making the mandala in two sizes.

Gauge is unimportant, but will affect final size. I made them with size 10 cotton thread and a 1.75mm hook. The smaller of the two sizes went on a 6 inch metal ring, the larger on an 8 inch. Use as few or as many colors as you wish! I used 7 in the smaller, 5 in the larger (photo steps). I did not indicate color changes, except in the case of rows 3-4, where you will use the same color for both rows.

I did not indicate how to start or end rows. You can either use standing stitches or chains to start, and slip stitch or needle join to end- whichever method you prefer.
