Thousand Kisses Shawl
Named ‘Thousand Kisses Shawl’ as it’s made up of many crossed double treble stitches that I think look like kisses. I made this in a soft alpaca / silk blend that gives the triangular shaped shawl a wonderful drape. It can be worn in many ways - either around your shoulders in the traditional shawl way, or with the point at the front with the ends wrapped around your neck and then bought forward - a bit more like a scarf.
The pattern is written in UK crochet terminology and includes photo and schematic instructions.
I used 1 50g ball of each of the 5 colours and used up nearly all of the yarn. Gauge: approx 15 stitches x 12 rows in pattern after blocking = 10cm x 10cm.
I hope you enjoy making this loving shawl!
