Create your own Maud Lewis inspired crocheted sweater! Pattern includes the Three Black Cats design, 9 sizes from XS to 5XL, and over an hour of exclusive accompanying tutorial videos. The fit of the sweater is slightly cropped and oversized, however simple instructions to make the sweater longer are provided!

This pattern is suitable for intermediate/ambitious beginner crocheters. You should be comfortable reading crochet patterns, working the half double crochet stitch, changing colours, and seaming. No prior embroidery experience is neccesary! I’ve got videos to help you along the way. Pattern was written using US/Canada standard crochet terminology.

Materials Required (not included with the pattern purchase):

  • Caron Simply Soft Yarn (or another Weight 3/4 (dk/worsted) yarn that meets the gauge)
  • 4.5 mm hook (or other, to meet gauge)
  • Tapestry Needle
  • Measuring Tape

For sizes XS (S, M, L, 1XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL), the approximate amount of yarn needed is:

CATS:
450 (500, 600, 650, 700, 750, 800, 900, 1000 ) grams of green
225 (250, 275, 300, 325, 350, 375, 400, 425) grams of blue
50 (50, 50, 75, 75, 100, 100, 150, 150) grams of black
