Three scarf patterns are included in the booklet.

Sweet Violet - (Ecru with edging) is admittedly my favorite in this pattern. We have violets scattered in different places in the yard, sweet, wild, and cheerful. The triangular nature of this stitch pattern is similar in shape to the 5 petals of the violet. The angular edging is applied as it is worked. It is a variation of an old antique edging and balances nicely with the main lace pattern without dominating or distracting.

Gauge: In lace knitting this is critical only as it applies to the dressed laciness of the fabric, unless you are knitting a garment with shaping. For shawls, stoles and scarves, what is most important is the finished effect of the lace. You may need to knit more than one swatch to get a feel for what size needle the yarn likes to be knit at for that particular stitch pattern.

Materials: 2/8 weight (fingering weight yarn, amount varies weight scarf and desired length. 3 oz. Will be sufficient for each style.
