Here is my pattern for a lovely Three Flower Hot Water Bottle Cover, worked in aran (worsted weight) yarn - a beautiful accessory for the home, and functional as well!

This hot water bottle cover is designed to fit a standard hot water bottle (approx 10x8 inches) and would make a very welcome gift for a loved one, or make it for yourself to snuggle up with.

To make the cover you will need: 4mm (US size G) crochet hook, 100g aran yarn, and scraps of contrasting colour aran yarn for the flowers.

The cover is worked in granny squares, which are joined as you make them, saving on sewing time, and fastens with a drawstring at the neck. The bottle can stay in the cover while emptying and refilling, but is easily removed for washing.
