Three Quarter Time Scarf
So delicate!!!!!! With a DK weight yarn, you say? Oh yes! Dropped stitches and the combination of eyelets and twisted stitches create an airy yet practical scarf. Using a wool/silk/cashmere blend yarn adds yet another layer of soft, cuddlesome luxury.
The experienced knitter will find this project a delight and blocking is a must for all the stitches to show their best. Length can easily be adjusted through the pattern repeats.
Pattern is entirely in both charts and row by row written instructions, accommodating all knitters.
Materials needed are simple…….#6, 4.00mm knitting needles and 750 DK weight yarn (11wpi ). I used Lana Gatto Feeling, 5 skeins. Truly living up to it’s name, a great feeling yarn, soft and a slight sheen, but not a whimp!
Finished size blocked: 10” by 94”. Gauge: 24 st and 32 rows =4”, unblocked in garter stitch.
