Relaxed cardigan that can be knitted in a wide variety of yarns and textures. Because of the simple shape of cardigan, it fits from a size 8 all way up to a 16 without having amend the pattern. Since it has a one-button closure, it would lend itself really well to a space-dyed yarn that is dyed to match the colours of a special unique button.

The pattern is for an Aran yarn, knitted on 4.5mm needles.
The sleeves of the cardigan are knitted simultaneously and top-down to allow using up all the yarn you have available; if you have more, you can opt to knit longer sleeves, if you have a little less, the sleeves are left a bit shorter. Because you use up your yarn on the sleeves, you knit the edging for the neckline before knitting the sleeves.
