A fun and quick DK weight faded shawl was just what I needed one day. Instead of searching on Ravelry for one I wrote my own pattern and used a custom Hedgehog Fibre fade in their Merino DK.

I love a fade, that’s no secret, but this shawl would look just as good in one colour. I particularly love a Hedgehog Fibre Fade and to make one just as amazing as mine you will need 3 skeins of Merino DK.

The pattern is knit using only yarn overs and knits! The stretchy bind-off instructions are incorporated into the pattern so all you need to do is download the pattern and start knitting!

Please note your row gauge will be determined by how aggressively you block. Testers had a wide variety of finished dimensions based off blocking preferences so do not worry overly about a finished gauge or size. Make the shawl you like!
