This baby blanket starts at the center with only a few foundation chains and is worked in a log cabin pattern. Give this project a sophisticated look using a neutral color, or let your artistic sense flow and play with colors to create your own masterpiece. Babies will love the feel of the bobbles under their little fingers.

This is a great project to use smaller balls of yarn, or leftover yarns from other projects, and experiment with colors. There are three main parts, and several of the repeats are multiples of three -- which explains the name of this project. The model was worked using two colors. Crossed stitches around the border gives it a nice 3D effect.

(You can easily make this blanket bigger. Just keep working more sections!)
