Three Wishes Mittens are featured in the book Faerie Knitting: 14 Tales of Love and Magic. An intermediate level project, they are worked in the round with a thumb gusset. Six buttons, three pairs of “crystals”, are sewn on to reflect magical wishes as described in the accompanying story.
