I have a new favourite fabric for socks, fingering yarn held to gether with a silk mohair! These socks are nice and warm, super soft, and quick knits.

This pair includes a lot of stitches through the back loop – thus the name. However, only knit stitches. The socks have a short cuff, which can easily be adjusted if you prefer a longer cuff. A nice detail is that the pattern continues all the way on the toe.

Sizes: 1 (2) 3

Leg and foot circumference 19 (21) 23 cm. The socks are knit in rib and are therefore quite elastic.
Foot length adjustable.

Yarn: Fingering yarn and silk mohair held together

Yardage: Approximately 380m in total
190m of fingering sock yarn and 190m of silk mohair
Yardage amounts may vary depending on the length of your foot.

Shown in: Mondim 100% Portuguese wool (385m/100gr)
Isager silk mohair (212m/25gr)

Gauge (in pattern): 38 sts/10 cm (due to all the ribbing it is difficult to measure the gauge)
