Through the Gloaming Cowl
Gloaming is one of my favorite words. It means twilight or dusk, the glowing of sunset. Coming into winter the days are getting shorter and the nights longer. I love that magically time in between, when the sun is low in the sky and everything is painted in gorgeous shades of color. The variegated yarns in the Through the Gloaming Cowl reminds me of these colors, pops of bright against the coming night.
Through the Gloaming is a bias knit garter stitch cowl. Knit with our super bulky weight Donna yarn, and one 12-yarn mini skein DK weight, it is a simple 2 row pattern that knits up quickly. The variations in the colors, along with the diagonals give it a unique look. The mixture of weights make it the perfect accessory for the transition from fall to winter.
