This light shawl consists of garter sections interspersed with lace panels to give it an airy look. This is a great shawl to grab in the spring and summer for evenings or when the AC is too high! It’s perfect to drape over your shoulders when there’s a summer breeze that makes you feel fine….

The two colors alternate in each garter section, while C2 only is used for the lace sections.

Yarn Requirements: Fingering weight in 2 colors

• 210 yards of color 1 (C1)
• 420 yards of color 2 (C2)

There is an option in the pattern for 400 yard skeins - 200 yds of C1 and 400 yds of C2. You can also choose to work the entire shawl in a single color (600-630 yds).

The sample shawl used 196 yards of C1 and 411 yards of C2.
