This sock has 3 of my favrourite things: cables, lace, and contrasting toes and heels. Designing it and knitting it made me happy. This yarn is beautiful and working with it makes me happy. Looking at the finished sock makes me happy and I hope when you knit them and wear them, they make you feel happy.

This pattern is worked from the top down. The cable/lace design starts at the very top of the sock and continues onto the top of the foot. The back of the leg features ribbing until the short row heel which is worked in a contrasting yarn. The toe is also worked in a contrasting colour and is grafted closed with Kitchener stitch.
