Thrumming is a fun technique that adds a warm fleece lining to your project by knitting wool roving into the fabric. If you’ve never tried thrumming before, I’d like to teach you how to do it in my “Thrum-fun Hat” color illustrated pattern. You will learn how to add thrumming to the earflaps for extra warmth and softness and the pattern also includes lessons in how to make bobbles the easy way, how to make a knitted cord and how to make a pom pom.

As with all my designs, if you have any questions as you work up the hat, please contact me. I want you to have fun and end up with a spectacular result. Warning: thrumming can be addicting so if this is your first thrummed project, it may not be your last!
