Method: The dress is knitted top-down in the round, in Stockinette Stitch.
The yoke of the dress consists of 2 broad straps, which each are knitted in the round, to make them double layered. When using the dress, the 2 straps must be crossed over one another, so that they create a X shape. When the 2 straps have been made, their end sts are all gathered a the same needle, and a hem for the I-cord ribbons are knitted. When knitted, the 2 ribbons are inserted into the hem, to shape the fitted waistline of the dress. To finish the dress, the voluminous skirt is knitted in the round, and finished with an I-cord edge.
