This hat features a pocket just big enough for Thumbkin, should you come across him in his travels, and is sized for every member of the family. Even if you don’t ever need to give Thumbkin a lift, you may appreciate the pocket as a handy place to put loose change, a little map, or – if you are a knitter – a little tape measure.

This pattern is written for four sizes: 16 (17, 18, 20)“ finished circumference. The hat will stretch several inches beyond its finished circumference.
