Thunder-Snow Cable Scarf (Braided)
CORRECTION: Row 2 and other even rows should NOT have K15 in the middle. Instead, it should be like this:
K3, P1, K3, P9, K3, P1, K3
I created this pattern during an actual thundersnow event in the Midwest in winter 2014. The thunder rumbled as snow swirled in blinding white-outs -- perfect for snuggling in by the fire!
This is a simplified, non-reversible version of Jennifer Jones’ (jenzilla) gorgeous Bulky Reversible Cable Braid Scarf, published here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/bulky-reversible-.... Thank you Jennifer for that lovely scarf!
If you are newer to cables, this is an easy pattern that knits up quickly, feels delightfully soft in your fingers as you knit and looks lovely when finished. Enjoy!
