This dramatic shawl grabs your attention with a wide block of gradient mosaic colourwork in the center. The zigzags move like soundwaves of rumbling thunder accompanied by the shushing of rain sliding down a windowpane in the easy texture of the garter rib.
PATTERN NOTES
This shawl has an asymmetrical triangular shape. It begins with a few stitches and is worked on the bias, growing toward the opposite edge.
The first section is worked with the main colour in garter rib. The middle section incorporates the contrasting colours in garter stitch stripes and a mosaic zigzag pattern. The shawl ends with more garter rib and a final section of colourful stripes.
The colours from Party of Five are used/listed as follows: Peaccock - CC1, Azurite - CC2, Velvet Elvis - CC3, Aubergine - CC4, and Jewel - CC5.
The Garter Rib and Mosaic Zigzag patterns are both written (see Stitches Used) and charted (page 4) for your preference.
